No POWER

I've read a lot of articles about how to get mixed voice and etc. I know the concept and I know how it sounds (some friends around can do it). But when it comes to me practicing and trying to get this sweet voice, I just don't get it.

I know those mum mum mum and nay nay nay exercise and I know what they'll do to my voice. But I just can't sing strong solid mix voice.
So my biggest struggle is I know where my mix is but I can't sing with power!!
