Tips On How To Sing Part 2

by Juliana Tracy Teoh Su Ling

Singing is not all about only good and strong voices. It include great feelings for the songs you're singing and good pronunciation on words.

1.Singing needs a lot of training,if possible, always train daily for about 2hrs.Before doing so,you need to warm up your voice.

To do so,you need to breathe in and out 3 times, slowly until your chess and lungs are fill with air,(breathe with your mouth not nose).

2.Vowel training such as try moving your mouth and pronouncing words clearly is a basic need.

3.Then slowly try to sing up to the level of your speech level. Do not shout because it will spoil your voice, eventually goes to voice cracks.

Learn to breathe in between like doggy breath through mouth, not nose because it not will fasten the air flow into your upper stomach just located under your stomach. Always breathe this way in a relax state. Relax yourself.

4.Body position while sitting:
Body sitting straight, chess up(relax)head slightly up,shoulders relaxed and slightly backwards from the chess and both feet touched the floor at the length of your shoulders.

5.Standing body position:
Body stand straight, chess upwards, head slightly up,shoulders relaxed and feet touching the floor at the length of your shoulders.

6.While singing at both positions:
You need to ensure that you are comfortable and at ease.

7.To start singing, always breath in and out slowly for3 times slowly like what I said.

8.Singing is always not a stress but take it as fun and lovely.Breathe like doggy breath fast at ease then throw out your voice but in your speech level.

To do that, you must take in air through mouth fast, expand your ribs then use the air that you've breathe in to push your upper stomach and the sides of your stomach to sing with power. The sides of your stomach also contains singing muscles.

Always breathe in order that you will not run out of air to make sure that your voice will be strong.Make sure that your lower stomach is also pushed with the air. Your postures must be straight to do that.

9. Always make sure that when you breathe in,your throat(the swallowing muscle)does not stress. In that way, you can breath in easily with your mouth. Your shoulders, stomach and chess must also be at ease so that you won't stress.

Finally, have great fun and feelings for the songs. When you felt this, you will even sway and enjoy the songs and even want to sing again x2. Pronounce words clearly. I recommend you to listen to singers like Don Moen,Robin Mark and Darlene Zscech. Listen to how they sing. They can and always unleash powerful voices but always relaxed themselves. This training is called vocal.

Singing is always vocal because you need to use strength for it.You also need lots of trainings for this. Enjoy!
