Powerful vocal exercises to increase range. Once you find your mixed voice, you will increase your range by an octave at least. Read on to find how...
What types of vocal exercises are the most efficient at increasing vocal range?
Do you know?
I didn’t know for a long time! I tried and tried to increase my vocal range, but with no success.
I learned that increasing vocal range is about finding a new muscle coordination. A muscle coordination that takes you into your upper vocal registers… also known as your mixed voice and your head voice.
You can’t force your way into your upper registers. When you force the voice, you are actually engaging the wrong muscles. You are engaging the “outer muscles of the larynx”, which are the muscles you use for swallowing food.
Instead, you need to find a new muscle coordination. Your vocal cords have to form a new coordination where the cords have shortened in length. In this shortened coordination you will have no trouble hitting the highest notes you can imagine.
So how do you find this new muscle coordination?
With singing exercises of course! But not just any singing exercises.
They must be exercises that automatically cause your voice to form this new coordination. This way, you will know how it feels to sing in your upper registers, and you will be able to find this place in your voice whenever you want.
There are some exercises that are specifically designed to do this. They are based on a technique which is renowned for producing singers with exceptionally large vocal ranges.
This program includes many powerful vocal exercises to increase range, vocal strength exercises, vocal vibrato exercises and more.
It’s the only singing program that I recommend to all my vocalist friends.
