Vocal Tips To Release
The Amazing Voice Inside Of You

Read on to discover very important vocal tips that will help you become the master of your voice...

I was watching a very interesting video the other day. It was one of the most respected vocal instructors in America taking a class of vocal students.

There were many amazing vocal tips given. But there was one thing that stood out for me.

It was one line, which could have passed me by, but fortunately my ears latched onto it!

Let me tell you what he said...

Now before I say it, I ask you not to disregard this. It's seemingly very simple, but I think it's vitally important.

Here it is: While listening to a male singer sing high into his range, this great teacher made the comment, "It's light but it's right".

Ok, ok . I can almost hear you saying, "common, I already have heard that"! Gimmi the good stuff"!

I know, I know... it does seem simple. But let’s dig a little deeper into this. What does it actually mean?

The male singer was trying a new technique that the teacher was showing him. It was causing the male vocalist to drop a lot in volume. But there was an amazing thing that happened. The male singer never broke or reached for the higher notes. He never strained... and his voice stayed consistent and solid. (although a little quieter)

What the vocal instructor is really saying here is "with this correct foundation that has been developed, a much louder correct version can now be achieved. It's a very important vocal tip, agreed?

So now that the singer can hit quiet notes correctly, he can gradually increase in volume until he's back to a normal level.

If this singer was practicing at a much more rock and roll volume (loud!), he may not have been able to produce the same muscle coordination’s. Which would mean he would most likely...

reach for high notes

sing with tension

destroy his best tone quality

lack consistency

get tired very quickly

Now this list (above) is exactly what you don't want your voice to be!

So what is the most desirable state for singing?

It's when you stay at speech level.

You can feel what it feels to be at speech level right now. All you need to do is say something softly. Try saying the words, "one, two, three, four" at a very low volume.

Can you feel how it's very easy and there is no straining? When you talk quietly like this you are talking at speech level.

Easy right? So how can you take this and begin singing at speech level?

It's actually quite simple. The mechanics of correct singing are rather easy to learn with the right instructions. It takes a little while to master, but once you can feel that you're on the right track, the journey is very enjoyable.

Let me help you get started. It won't cost you anything except fifteen minutes of your time.
